Cultural Celebration Day 2017.

I am representing China.  My clothes are from my house.  Sometimes I wear them to Chinese class.

My Awesome Reading.

When I started school this year, I could read the book, Me.  It had one line to read on one page.  NOW, I can read books like, Superdogs.  It has loads of words and sentences on the same page.  At home I can read anything.  I am fabulous reader!

Mathletics at School.

I like Mathletics at school and I do mine on the Ipad.  Sometimes it is tricky to match, but I am getting better.  I feel proud when I get the tick because that means, "great job!"

My Art for the Exhibition 2017.

Before we made our art, we had to sketch AND sketch AND sketch AND sketch!  Here is my final and my best sketch of them all.

Next we had to use the cotton buds and dip them into the dye.  Sometimes it had to dry in the night time and then we could do some more the next day.  When it was all done, we went around very, very carefully with the black vivid (while Mrs Kerr held her breath!)

My Writing for the Jubilee.

I chose a policeman.  Mrs Kerr helped me to spell the word 'policeman' because I know it starts with a 'p' and then I am not sure.  I like my picture because I drew my hat and my handcuffs and my police dog.

I Am Learning To Make Rhyming Words.

This is hard for me.  I have to listen and make the words.  Hat and cat.  I can keep trying with Mrs Kerr.

I Am Learning About Shapes.

I have made a green triangle.  I had to cut out some little triangles and I glued them on the big triangle.  It was tricky to cut because sometimes they don't look like triangles.  I am proud of my triangle because my triangle looks beautiful!

Publishing My Writing.

    My story:  I am going to the frog house and I see a green frog.

 I am learning how to make a word cloud.  First I wrote my story.  

Then I highlighted the key words with a green highlighter. 

I could choose my frog shape AND my colours.

I am really proud of mine because the colours look cool and I like the big word - frog.
